When evaluating maps we must consider the rules set forth by the Redistricting Act. I have attached those rules and notes on what Fair Districts asked for in our original legislation.
The NM First did recommend the language on maintaining the core of existing districts for the reason stated in the notes.
Remember any maps passed have to follow the rules set out in the Redistricting Act.
