There was some confusion about what was presented at the Legislative Council hearing yesterday about in person testifying at committee meetings.

The Senate is pretty clear - you can testify in person as you normally would. But there might be limits on how many can be in the committee rooms.

The House message was a little confusing. They said people had to testify through a device. Some people interpreted that as meaning you had to have your own device to testify or that it had to be virtual. I asked the Hose Clerk (always helpful) to clarify. She said that you can testify in person and that the legislature will provide the device in the committee meeting room.
