I attended the HENRC meeting on Zoom this morning. Many of the microphones worked poorly. Only HB 96 (Combined Cycle Natural Gas as Renewable) was heard. Chair McQueen took one pro comment from Zoom. He did not ask for a con comment. There were both pro and con comments in person.

Rep. Townsend's argument was that there will be blackouts if natural gas is not included as a renewable energy source even though he repeatedly acknowledged that it is not renewable. After 90 minutes of discussion, the bill was tabled.
