Note that some interim committees are created by statute:

Some are created by the Legislative Council (sort of the Legislative Executive Committee) Created by Legislative Council 5/1/23
and have to be reauthorized each interim.

Senate Rules is the only Standing Committee that is authorized to meet during the interim.
