Just a quick reminder: New Mexico is developing the Yazzie-Martinez Action Plan, and your voice matters!
📍 Tonight’s Community Engagement Session in Albuquerque
Wednesday, August 20 | 4–7 p.m.
Embassy Suites, 1000 Woodward Place NE
🚨 NEW this evening: This session will feature a Youth Action Room, a space for young people to speak their truth, share their vision, and shape the future of education in New Mexico.
Community input is essential to making sure the plan meets the needs of all students, especially Native American students, English learners, students with disabilities, and those from low-income families.
Heading to a meeting? Be prepared with our “Know Before You Go” Toolkit, now available in English and Spanish. It includes background on the case, what to expect at the meetings, suggested talking points, and reflection prompts so you can share your perspective confidently.
