Dick, you are correct.   These appear to be provider-led, and I'll bet they will have selected "patients" (aren't we all?) to support their positions.  So they should just skip these shows and ask the legislature for what they want: tort reform, reimbursement increases and less oversight.  They don't mention the interstate compacts - do they not want more providers?

Yes we can agree on some issues like health care recruitment & retention. But They will have to prove to me that they give patients input to their policies.

One summit is in Taos, one is in LAs Cruces, and the third is virtual. There will legislation introduced in the 2026 Legislative session. This may give insight into what that will be.
