The Senate just passed HJR5 ! Last time the question went to voters was 1992! The League will help educate voters about this critically important ballot question! We need to enlist colleagues, friends, and family to assist in getting this passed. It’s not just an issue of fairness, justice, and democracy to allow everyone who wants to serve the opportunity. It will also reduce the potential ill effects of campaign contributions from special interests.  It was the work of Senators Nava and Charley and Rep. Parajon and a large group of other women sponsors who made this happen.
