Our presenter will be Robert Rhatigan
Robert is the director of UNM's Geospatial and Population Studies Center and the New Mexico State Demographer, serving as the state's liaison to the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2017, Governor Susana Martinez appointed him as state liaison to the Local Update of Census Addresses program, and in 2019 Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham appointed him to the New Mexico 2020 Complete Count Commission. He has served on a National Academies of Sciences working group focused on improving the quality of the 2020 Census, and in 2021 he served on the New Mexico Citizen Redistricting Committee as an independent voter appointed by the New Mexico State Ethics Commission.
