It looks like the <b><u>City of Pueblo</u></b> CO is taking steps to insure a <b><u>more consistent flow</u></b> in the <b><u>Pueblo Whitewater Park</u></b>. As many of you know this is my (and many other paddlers) favorite park in the 4 Corners States if not the whole country. The biggest problem with it is that there is no dedicated flow amount in the summer months and for us living far away, you could check the gauge in the morning and see great flows, but by the time you get there a few hours later the river could be nearly dry, or like last year the park never had enough water in it to make it worth the trip. The Arkansas River in Pueblo is Dam Controlled so a little better management would insure that many of us would go and enjoy this place more regularly.
