Rio Grande Whitewater Festival begins today

of really interesting and new activities to
make this a fun event for all including bird walks, river races,
river rodeos,
speakers talking about various water topics, book signings, music,
parties,

interested in going as a group to the kayak down

meeting anyone who wants to join others at 9:15am at the Rio Bravo
Campground to
register, $20 per person for first event (discounts if you will
participate in
subsequent events). Come introduce yourself and meet other local
paddlers who will participate or watch. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">While a race, it
is meant to be fun and is appropriate for
anyone with the skills and comfort to go down the Race Course.<span
style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They will be starting small
groups in 30
second increments from one another. The more the merrier so I hope
to see you
there, either on the river or cheering from the river's edge! <o:p></o:p></p>
