A friendly reminder that there is going to be a showing of the movie Damnation at the CCA in Santa Fe at 7:00.
We need a few volunteers to answer questions about the AWC. Let me (Peter) know tomorrow if you able to help.
Attached is more info on Damnation.

Norm Gaume, former Interstate Stream Commission (ISC) chairman, is a licensed water engineer and a knowledgeable, charismatic speaker. Norm is currently working to save New Mexico taxpayers and the Gila River from ISC’s construction of the Gila River diversion project. Norm and colleagues’ newly completed modeling work shows the project will produce NO or very low amounts of usable water. Norm has used Reclamation’s own cost estimates and applied the financing method recently proposed by an investment bank to demonstrate the $1.1 billion dollar project is NOT financially feasible even if it would work, which it won’t.
Steve Harris is Executive Director of the non-profit river conservation group Rio Grande Restoration, dedicated to protection of the ecological and economic values provided by the Rio Grande. Steve is a prolific writer, engaging speaker and advocate for the resolution of river issues.
