Dear AWC members and all concerned about access to public waterways:

 

The stream access (No stream access) bill, SB 226, will be heard in Senate Judiciary tomorrow (Friday).

 

It would be great if you  would show up tomorrow in Senate Judiciary  (Room 321) at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow (or whenever they get off the floor)

 

to oppose the anti-boating, anti- fishing, anti-stream access SB 226.

 

According to Michelle Briscoe of NM Wildlife Federation, "The bill has been sitting on the floor of the house for a few days, we hear, because they are waiting to see what Judiciary decides. It is of utmost importance to kill it there."
