Proceeds from the event support Kayak New Mexico's Adaptive Paddling programs;
"Kayak New Mexico builds courage, confidence and character, one stroke at a time, through Adaptive Paddling programs for people with physical or developmental disabilities, or life-threatening medical conditions. Through our Healing Veteran's program, Kayak New Mexico helps service-injured Veterans find serenity and purpose in environments where PTSD, anxiety and depression cannot compete."
The
event will begin at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30. Sandia Prep Auditorium,
on the Sandia prep campus.
We'll have about 2.5 hours of videos, with
about 1/2 whitewater focused, and 1/2 an even mix of sea kayaking, SUP,
rafting, kayak fishing, conservation and education. We're pretty
excited about the lineup.
