[NMCycling] Watermelon Beat Down

Mountain bike inclined bike-racers,

   I would recommend to the area cross country MTB racer types that they come out to the Watermelon Beat Down on Saturday.  I myself am planning to do the C (27mi) course, which is comparable to a normal cross country distance, at least for the cat 1s.  It took me about 3:17 last year.  The trails are very technical in spots, not so technical in others, but generally more technical than most NMORS races.  Not an easy 27mi, but it is a cool epic, taking you all around the Sandias.  There is no NMORS race since Signal Peak got canceled, and furthermore it is free.  The only downside is that it starts at (shudder) 7AM.
