Hi crit Racers,
High Desert Bicycles, and the High Desert Bicycles race team would like to thank everyone who has raced the crit series this year. We have two announcements to make for tomorrow's final crit.
1. Last weeks 1/2/3 race was shortened by weather. If you paid $15.00 to race that race, we are "pushing" $10.00 from that entry fee towards this week. This means you can race for $5.00 this week. The $5.00 we are "keeping" is to pay USAC and the officials. If you paid $15.00 to race the 3/4 race and paid $5.00 additional to race the 1/2/3, this offer does not apply.
2. Thanks to a donation by HDB Team member Geoff Steffens of La Cueva Family Healthcare, We have cash prizes for the 1/2/3 race and the 3/4 race For the 1/2/3's, 1st prize is $75.00, 2nd is $35.00, and 3rd is $25.00. Primes will be $20.00. For the 3/4's, 1st is $30.00, 2nd is $15.00, and 3rd is $10.00 with $10.00 primes. HDB will try to concentrate the trove of donated merchandise to make the prizes for the other races a little more exciting as well.
