Family and friends will gather at 3:30 pm Saturday, 10-25-2014, to place a ghost bike for Jose Ruiz.  We will meet at the gas station at the corner of Westside and the Coors Bypass/528 to determine the best place for the ghost bike.

We will be looking to place the bike south of the meeting spot, closer to where the crash happened.  The ghost bike will be dedicated at 4 pm.

Jose was killed September 13, 2014 when he was struck from behind by Cory Lucero, who is alleged to have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash.  Lucero did flee the scene, but was apprehended later by APD, thanks to information provided by witnesses.

Join us for this important ghost bike placement.
