Join us for the 11th annual, and New Mexico's oldest endurance mtb race this weekend in Gallup! Everyone, literally EVERYone can camp on the course and our 100% singletrack, nationally designated BEST IN COUNTRY High Desert Trail System is not to be missed! For the faithfuls, remember the days of packet party, ehhem, pickup at El Rancho Hotel? We're heading back to the National Historic Site for ourpre-race festivities!

What else have we lined up? Free race beer thanks to Bosque Brewing Company, pint glasses for all, your purdy mug shots by Gillen Photography, Mimmo Espresso pumpin' out some caffe race morning, Twisted Taco truck race day (and it ain't event Tuesday!), Performance Bicycle fixin' your flats, Taos Mountain Energy Bars preventing the on-course bonk, Hammer Nutrition, and Tailwind Nutrition bringin' the tasty energy drinks, not to mention the most unique prizes in the country (can we get away saying that?) - handmade Native American Kachinas.

Whoooaaa, and we forgot the best part - kids' schtuff: Glorieta Camps is providing a free day camp for kids, ALL DAY! They're bringing strider bikes for the wee-tykes, hosting a free kids' bike race, maybe taking kids and parents around the corner to do some top rope climbing at Gallup's stellar Mentmore Climbing Area.

Haven't signed up yet? What the heck are you waiting for?! Register now!

Late Reg/T-Shirt Cutoff & Course Updates
Sunday, May 23rd at midnight is your last shot to snag a t-shirt with your registration, guaranteed size an' all. And, the last opportunity to get in at the regular registration rate. After the 23rd, registration goes up $20 per person. So register soon!

We've made some adjustments to the course after both racer recommendations and safety concerns on behalf of our world-class Search and Rescue crew, shortening our race course to 15 miles. I know, I know; 15 miles at 7,800 feet elevation ain't nothing, you could ride that all night long. Well, then what are you waiting for!? Peep the updated course map

The EnchantedLand category is back, after popular demand, to the 2013 five mile course! This category is designed for novice riders and/or families that want to be a part of the race without the pressure or skillset to ride the full course. EnchantedLand participants are permitted to ride in groups (think mother and son), are only allowed to ride during daylight hours, and can sign up to six people to their team. Registration is $250 per team instead of per person.

Expect us to go balls out (excuse the late night word choices) as we hammer out details in the coming weeks! The most up to date info is on our FaceBook Page, so like us!

2015 Zia Series Standings
With three races under our belts this season (12 Hours of Old El Paso, TommyKnocker10, 12 Hours in the Wild West), all of which were in the Southern part of the state, the warm-blooded folks are taking the cake. Currently in 1st and 2nd place for females are Khadijih Mitchell and Lori Diaz, both of Las Cruces. The men are lead by Nate Berg, Smokin' Raider Ray Padilla, and Dan Lucero. To win, you must complete at least three of five events. More details here. To be continued...
