Mine was stolen from the parking garage in Uptown while it was chained to the bike rack. The cable was cut. This parking garage, Two Park Square, has full time security. I guess I should say they pay someone to wear a white uniform and wonder around. I found out from the building management company that another bike had been stolen from the same bike rack the previous week, again apparently right under the nose of the person wearing a white uniform.

Mine was taken in Chicago, and it was on a cable lock also.

I have had 3 bikes stolen in ABQ.  Two from my stupidity leaving my garage door open overnight, in 2006, near NE ABQ.  The third was from a bike rack outside the UNM LAW School front entrance.  I used a cable, stupidly, which was clearly snapped with ease.
