Hello all,
I will make this pretty quick and simple because we all knew this day was coming though it is here sooner than originally anticipated. Today, effective immediately, I am passing on the role of interim series director to Stephen Williamson. Stephen has graciously stepped up to help fill the role for the remainder of the season since I will be moving to Colorado and be out of the country for most of the next few months. Stephen has already been filling in a lot of gaps for the series behind the scenes and I want to thank him for that. I see his experience in NM Cycling, relationship with NMBRA, desire to be involved, and location in Albuquerque to be big assets for the series.
I have had a pleasure receiving this opportunity to get the series going and look forward to seeing where it continues to go from here. There are some very strong race directors in this group with races growing stronger every day so I am sure the only direction the series will go is up.
It would be great to get reimbursed as soon as people can, I will send a reminder out on October 1st because my credit card will soon be due. Thank you!
To wrap up, the NMCX Series still needs a longterm race director but Stephen Williamson will be the primary leader and contact for the remainder of the season effective immediately. Thank you for letting me be involved in getting this season going, I wish everyone the best for some great races and really hope to see the sport grow a ton this year because you all deserve it!-
