Evening all,
Chuska 22 is just two days off. The routes are set, weather looks great, XM reception is excellent (it's a baseball thing), colors are golden and a full slate of music is on tap at camp.
Attached is the weekend schedule plus a flyer of the event, including the new music festival this year, so spread the word! Ethnic Degeneration, Razor Saltboy, Talibah Begaye, the Martins Sisters and our legend, Jimmy Keith, will all have the stage throughout the afternoon and evening. The amazing Dine' storyteller Larry King will be sharing and Navajo Code Talker John Kinsel, Sr. will be there for everyone to meet, greet and honor.
The new race will get things going on Saturday, followed by the tour, which includes Goosenest Meadow, Crooked Lake overlook, Prairie Dog Meadow and Roof Butte to, literally, cap off the day. Hearty Chuska aid stations will keep you fueled throughout the day.
Camping is available both days. The Chuska raffle is loaded with goods, so come with a few bucks to increase your odds and support the cause. We will also have a silent auction going throughout the weekend. All proceeds go to our Bikes for Kids project and youth adventure outings.
Also attached is a paper registration, if you prefer that. If you plan to come, do it online or let us know here, so we can plan on you being here.
Call or text if you have questions: 928-429-0345. See you all soon.
