Ms. Huber has a long history of sending angry and abusive emails to PATA and the Forest Service. She is also a supporter of Michael DeLongchamp who was convicted of a felony and put in jail for setting traps and injuring trail users in Placitas. Her latest emails go beyond what can just be ignored and we want to warn trail users of this threat. Below an excerpt from one of the emails we posted earlier. "So, put this into the registry with the Sandoval County Sheriff Office: next time I'm abused verbally and physically by any of your new users of FS445 in any form, I'm just going to use a weapon to do what you are not: how sad/ignorant/misguided you are. A few of us already put in a stint in Sandoval County Jail. I'm old now, so looking forward to getting arrested for standing up for this Land you simply do not care about." This is not something we can just laugh off given the numerous angry trail confrontations reported and the other threating emails she has sent to PATA. Two people with the Cibola National Forest were included in both emails. For her to send a threat like this to high ranking federal officials is one that should be taken seriously. A picture of Ms. Huber is attached to this post. Use caution if you come across this person and report any encounters to the Forest Service, Sheriff’s office, and PATA. Be safe! Forest Service cibolanfg@fs.fed.us or 505.346.3900 Sheriff’s Office Emergency 911, non-emergency 505-867-7526 or scsocrimewatch@sandovalcountynm.gov PATA Adminstrator@PlacitasAreaTrail.org Placitas Area Trail Association posted yet another threat that was received from the same individual...
