Bike-racers:

I am passing this on to the list.  It is a marathon spin class fundraiser ride, which is an interesting concept.  It might be kind of cool.  See info below if interested.

Subject: Local Spin Class Fundraiser - Urgent
Date: Tue, 11 Jul 2017 19:05:51 +0000

Hi, Hawke,

Tony Gradillas, a local cycler, gave me your email address and encouraged me to reach out to you to see if you might be willing to share this information with your contacts. It is about an indoor cycling/spinning fundraiser event to benefit homeless and at-risk (not in school, not working) youth.

My name is Melody Wells and I work at the nonprofit that is benefitting - New Day Youth and family Services. This fundraiser sis et to raise $10,000.00 for homeless and at-risk youth in Albuquerque by donating 100% of the class proceeds to New Day Youth and Family Services!

New Day Info. (scroll down for info. on the fundraiser itself)

New Day is a 41-year-strong nonprofit that serves homeless and at-risk youth, including former foster youth who are aging out of foster care without having been adopted. Located in Albuquerque, we serve 1,000 youth each year from across the state - they are referred by other programs if they are a good fit for what we do, which includes intensive and evidence-based Life Skills Training and transitional housing for youth ages 17-22 who have no parents or safe place to live.

I hope you're intrigued and that you wouldn't mind sharing the following information about the spin class fundraiser with your networks. We're planning for a BIG event with high energy and focused on the mission of supporting homeless kids. THANK YOU!!

Sincerely,

Melody S. Wells
