All - I do want to support the outcomes our Gov seeks, and accept & respect that many of the tools she has are blunt.    And the importance of avoiding negative impressions of us.

While some kind of well reasoned criteria for outdoors (work or exercise) seems sensible and worth exploring and advocating,

For now - who’s found a good flowing mask-band that one can breath thru running or cycling?   Tolerably while not preferably?

Keeping eye on the prize - sustained health & life!

Totally agree. I think the issue is logic. If we can sit at a patio 6 feet from 4 people with no masks then riding alone with no mask seems not a problem. I wear a mask all the time in public. I support the Governor’s leadership. The interval example is a case in point where some common sense needs to prevail.

How about you stop trying to carve out exceptions to your hobbies and start setting an example that we can make personal sacrifices to control the spread of this disease? Or alternatively, keep pretending that your right to do intervals on the road is the political fight of our generation and write the governor saying as much.

I ask that you review your policy and reconsider outdoor exercise “essential” to enabling community health and allow it to be done without a mask but with more restrictive social distancing.
