The trails at Galisteo Basin Preserve are all on land owned by a private non-profit, Commonweal Conservancy.  They need donations to help maintain the trails and cover land ownership expenses. They're also building 5 miles of new trail to expand their trail network.  You can support GBP by entering the Core Crew's virtual 6 hour race.  Registration is only $20 and 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting the trail system.   You can do a single ride of 6 hours or submit up to 3 rides that total up to 6 hours and have until August 15th to submit your rides.  Full details in the Event Notes on the Registration page.  Don't want to do the event but want to donate to support the trails?  There's a donation box below the category listings on the Registration page or you can make a donation on GBP's website.
