For me, I’ve had great luck with Pearl Izumi and surprisingly Bontrager bibs. I also have some Bouré fleece knickers w/ chamois and am happy with the chamois although the knee part doesn’t fit my body well.

(full disclosure, the Trek Superstore sponsors our club).

I’m no expert, but a good bike fit person may be able to help with the chamois creep.

Hey Folks.

I'm having a helluva hard time trying to find new bibs.  Either they don't fit, are cheap, too expensive (out of principal) or they are rubbing to the left side of my buttox and are chafing my left hamstring.  Here is my breakdown thus far.

Castelli: made for children.  Even in my best race form at 139lbs, I don't think I could fit in them--they are so small and the quality seems overrated.

Pear:  Even the better ones seem cheap.

Hincapie: The grippers go below my knee.

Louis Garneau: These were def the best quality for the price but the chamois really pulled to my left side and chafed my leg.

Craft: Same thing as Garneau--they are pulling to the left side.

Assos and Rapha are out of the question on principle alone--way too expensive.

Anyway, given that I haven't had new bibs in a long time and both Craft and Garneau are offending my left leg, I am assuming that my body geometry has changed.  I suppose what I am wondering is, has anyone else dealt with this and found a remedy and/or is there another brand that I am not thinking of that is reasonably priced and is made with some quality.

Thanks, I appreciate it,
Ben
