In the course of enjoying the very dynamic and exciting 2021 Tour de France, you may have heard about some riders efforts to ride the tour route independently.

One of those efforts is actually almost finished!  Lachlan Morton, of the EF Cycling team, is riding each race course, plus all the transfers!  He started the day of the first race in Brest.  Asof today he has completed Stage 20 and is well into his transfer to Paris.

This effort is bringing attention to World Bicycle Relife's effort to get bicycles to people who really need them for transportation, mostly youngsters so that they can go to school.  So far, Morton's efforts have resulted in donations equal to 2846 bicycles.  $147.00 is the amount for one bike in USD.

Morton is almost done with his mileage and climbing goals, but is still a bit short of reaching his fundraising goal.  Consider expressing your interest in the Tour by supporting this Alt Tour's effort to get bicycles to kids who need them!

Duke City Wheelmen donated enough for one bike, plus the fees ($151.41).

Donations in any amount will help.
