Congrats to Michael Ziomek for winning the 13-14 XC National
Championship race yesterday, in Winter Park CO. It was a big field
of 71 riders from all over the country and he won in a sprint by
just 2 seconds.   This is especially impressive because he was still
wearing a cast last week from a wrist injury suffered a month ago.
Zwift isn't the best prep for mtb nationals but it was good enough
    for Michael!

Macky Franklin, who's single speed is Defending and Repeat SS
National Champion FAST, crushed the rest of the SS competition to
win by almost 4 1/2 minutes.

Michael Palmer improved upon last year's 3rd place by taking 2nd in
    today's 35-39 championship's race.

Jan Bear was just off the podium with a solid 6th place in the
    masters 65-69 race.

Apologies if I missed other New Mexico racers with high placings so
far at MTB Nationals and well done to all that are competing there.
