Bike-racers,

This detective called me and said he found three presumably stolen bikes in a stolen trailer.  Could you spread the word and let folks know about the bikes?  There were 2 Lauf bikes and one Time.  Please contact him if you might know who owned them.  I am not on the bike-abq list but if you are could you pass this on to them?

Thanks,

First off, Id like to start by saying I know nothing about bicycles.  I am a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s detective and we located what I assume are stolen cycling street style bikes in a stolen box trailer with other stolen items.   I checked them through our system utilizing the serial number and they did not return stolen.  It’s unknown where these bikes are from or when they were stolen (if that’s the case).  There were three bikes in total that were located and the makes are as follows:

Time

Lauf

Lauf

I am leaving models and descriptors out so in the case we locate the owner, they are able to describe them/show me photos/serial numbers/size etc.  If you can pass this information along to others in the cycling community it would be appreciated as I would like to locate the owner of the bikes.   If you have any information or if they bikes possibly belong to you, feel free to email me at Jeskinner@bernco.gov or call/text at 505-263-6532.

I appreciate your time,
