I have a super old, 6-speed beater mountain bike that I’d like to send up to my daughter in the PNW. Turns out the rear hub is badly pitted and not salvageable, so I am looking to swap out the wheel. Nothing fancy - this bike is likely going to spend a good deal of time outside on a rainy college campus and may get stolen five minutes after she parks it.

A non-pitted hub is a must, a silver rim is preferable, cheap is good, and free would be fantastic. If you have something gathering dust somewhere you’d like to sell, please let me know.
