Purchased new in the Spring of '24. I was taking on the challenge of completing Leadville in '24, just 11 months post-op from a knee replacement. I mostly rode it on dirt roads, though most of my long rides were done on my gravel bike. Outside of the limited riding the taper week before Leadville the last two years, and two failed attempts at the race itself, it has less than 10 hours of single track riding. IOW, it’s in great shape. I bought it because I wanted the best possible chance at getting a buckle, and the aluminum hardtail I had at the time wasn’t going to cut it. Turns out, a sub 23 pound FS super bike wasn’t enough for me, either.
The bike is basically stock, except that I replaced the 175mm XX cranks with a set of 170mm XO1 cranks. I tried 165s and liked them 'okay', but eventually settled on the 170s. I still have the 165s, can include either set, your choice. I didn’t use the chainring that came on the bike, used a powermeter from Sigeyi instead. I pulled the dropper post off and used a rigid Specialized carbon post. Still have the dropper post, it’s been ridden once.
Here's a link to the BBB page for the bike, it's got all the deets on the components. www.bicyclebluebook.com/value-guide/2023%20Specialized%20S-Works%20Epic%20Evo/?condition=EXCELLENT
I'm asking $7500. I'm in ABQ, but will deliver anywhere along the Front Range or as far as Tucson, as I'm always looking for an excuse to visit Tucson or Denver/Boulder. So, if you know someone who might be interested, please share with them. I'm open to shipping elsewhere, but at buyer expense. Please email for pix.
