Everyone hates daylight savings except climbing enthusiasts because the Wednesday Night Crest Climb is back! Come join us for the inaugural 2026 crest ride this Wednesday.
I have no idea what condition the crest road is in but, people have apparently been riding it so we’re going to attempt it.
Sunset is 7:10 so it’s probably still too dark to make it up/down with light unless you’re fast. It is ill advised to go up without a light at this point. The crest road gets what is known as “stupid dark” real fast.
We are meeting at Trailrider pizza after the ride. I assume they have moved into their new location at this point. The collapse of Greenside is sad but, we will persevere.
The weather looks good but, it’s still technically winter so who knows.
Wednesday NWS forecast for Cedar Creat
Sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Bring a jacket and light because you’ll absolutely need them. The head light is mainly so motorists can see you when you’re bombing back down. It’s helpful if the light is charged.
