Hi David; yeah, kinda figured that was going to happen. Working hard in Alamogordo to get a Tandem Team started for Blind/Visually Impaired and anyone else that wants to join us. Currently know of 4 Blind Stokers that would like to eventually do formal events and races. 

My wife and I showed up for and raced in the Engle TT last year on a Tandem and we've also done the Tour de Acoma in 2024. 

We've now done 7 rides with Blind Stokers and hoping we can include them in future New Mexico events and not just Paracycling events next year and also in the foreseeable future.

We're also looking for experienced cyclists that would be willing to Pilot Tandems and share the freedom of cycling events/racing

But, checking the updated status of the roads after the rains, it shows that Highway 27 south of Hillsboro is closed.

We have no choice but to cancel the race day - which we regret, but unfortunately cannot control.

We will process refunds, and hopefully look to regroup sometime in 2027.
