Thank you to all the parents who came and helped out with the March-a-thon. What a great day, great sound and awesome results.

Speaking of results - the donations received during the march-a-thon totaled $3104. We normally get more donations from paypal, and companies, etc.  We anticipate that this will be our highest year in many years, if not forever.

This money is used to pay for equipment, band supplies, fees and food for competitive and fun events, music and many other things that the Band program needs that is not covered by APS.

I'd also like to again recognize Ms Gonzales whose energy is endless and who encourages our kids to do amazing things.

First Football game - this Saturday 8/27/16 at community stadium 5PM.  Ms G will let the kids know when they to be there. We will need parents to be there at about the same time to help organize, load and secure the equipment in the Band Truck. We will also need parents at the game to help with getting equipment on the field, water to the Stands and just to be there to support the kids!!!! If you follow the band truck you can usually get into the same parking area as the Bus and Band Truck.  We encourage parents to car pool from the Highland PAC.

SECOND FOOTBALL GAME is the SATURDAY (at 1:00PM) of LABOR DAY WEEKEND.
