Here are notes from the booster meeting last
night. Thanks to everyone who could make it and those who sent
regrets.
MINUTES FOR HHS BAND BOOSTER MEETING FEBRUARY
7, 2017

Carpoolers will be needed
for March 14th
MPA concert. Kids will
load up after
school and will need to be transported at that time. Boosters will provide
dinner for
students. Arrival time
back at HHS
should be about 8 pm.
·
Cliff’s concert and fun
will be May 13th.
·
Band Camp is tentatively
set for July 24-August
11th. School
starts on August
14th.
·
UNM Band Fraternity has
proposed work with the
boosters, and do much of the coordination, for a craft fair to
be held at
Highland on Saturday, April 22nd. The boosters agreed to move
forward with this
fundraiser. Ms G. will
coordinate but
will need help from boosters as we get closer to the date. If you know of any vendors
that might want to
sell at the fair please contact Ms G..
Vendors could include jewelry makers, potters, crafters
etc…… There will be a
small booth rental fee and we
will get up to 10% of the proceeds.

Mary Scofield reviewed
the schedule for the
upcoming March 31st-April 2nd band trip to
Durango. The kids will
leave at 7:30 am on the 31st
and will return between 4-5 pm on Sunday April 2nd.
