A) PRC Open Positions

Why so many open positions?  Did people retire?  (there are over a dozen open positions which means the NM PRC is not operating as it could)

Why does the PRC advertise for posts filled by State Personnel office?  Should the Personnel Office do the recruiting for you?

Are your salaries competitive with say, TX, OK, AZ, CO?  When was the last time the salaries were reviewed and updated?

B) Discussion of Pending Legislative Matters.

I was surprised that your staff had not submitted more information to the commissioners earlier.  ( Contacts with the NM Legislature could be handled much better.)

Aa a Member League of Women Voters, our Action team is involved all the time on advising where our bills of interest stand before any committee and action to take.

I wonder if the views of the commission are being heard by members of the Legislature.

C) Temporary Moratorium on Utility Disconnections.(Currently utilities, gas/electric, have plans to allow clients hurt by the Pandemic to not pay their bills currently, if they create repayment plans.)

I concur with your actions and suggest that the PRC publish and Op Ed in the ABQ Journal.

Thank you
