In early August, the NM PRC will start holding hearings on the proposed Avangrid/PNM merger.

Further, I suspect that various groups particiopating will make announcements and there may be notices in the paper. After the hearing conclude, the Hearing Examiner will write a recommended order and submit to the five commissioners. There there will be a Public Hearing, probably in October or November, when the PRC will act. They can accept the Recommended Order or suggest changes. In my view, Avangrid will provide better service which will include Time of Day Rates by using smart meters which meaasure the exact time when electric power is used and the cost of power at that time.
