This is a quick reminder about the Voter Guide Committee meeting tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at the League of Women Voters office (6739 Academy Rd. NE) If the missed the zoom meeting on Tuesday, here is your chance to catch us. If you are interested in working on the voter guide or if you just want to know more about how we put it together, please join us.

I am looking for someone to train as a voter guide editor, so if anyone wants to go through the entire process of putting together the guide with me, I will welcome the company.

I have attached an agenda for the meetings, along with a calendar, so you will have a reasonable idea about when we need volunteers for the various parts of the process.

This is the biggest project of the year for the Central New Mexico league, and the most critical for voters. This year we have statewide elections, county elections, judicial elections, a staggering number of bond issues and some constitutional amendments that may bring dramatic change to New Mexico. Our committee is on the front line of educating voters and what you do will be critically important. We need your intelligence and common sense like never before.

If you can make the meeting tomorrow, I’ll spring for the coffee and bagels. Look at it as the most interesting invitation you’ll get this weekend.

See you there! If you can’t make it, but still want to participate, call me and we will work it out.

Karen
