I just finished reading the 5 page summary you shared about your experience at COP27.  You packed a lot into the second week and your observations were so informative.  (I wish my second week at COP26 had been as fruitful as yours.)

I had never heard the term "superhot rock" but your report is very timely with a discussion I heard this past weekend.  My NM state senator is proposing legislation in January to explore the potential of geothermal energy in New Mexico; the scientists are telling him that there is great potential for developing the geothermal energy sector here.  In case you're interested, here is the TED Talk on geothermal energy that he recommended: https://www.ted.com/talks/jamie_c_beard_the_untapped_energy_source_that_could_power_the_planet?language=en   It's about 14 minutes and is mind-blowing.  I won't give the punchline away but in an oil and gas state like New Mexico, geothermal energy could turn the ship around completely to renewables. 

You mentioned that you made a number of short videos at COP27.  Please let me know how and when you'll be sharing them.  I'd like to amplify your work with my state and local League members.
