Ensuring affordable housing options for people of all income levels is crucial for a well-functioning economy.  Securing a safe, affordable place to call home is the cornerstone on which all other successes are built.  Unfortunately, the greater Albuquerque area is experiencing a housing affordability challenge and homelessness crisis that impacts all of us. 

The presentation will cover:

 • city funded programs and partners,

  • encampment response procedures,

  • rental assistance and case management, 

• the Gateway to Housing system, and

  • plans for the development of more affordable housing.
