Save the Date: Virtual Public Meeting, July 31, 2025, 11:30 - 1:30. Albuquerque city staff are working to advance significant zoning reforms to incentivize housing production and reduce barriers to housing. There are six public meetings scheduled throughout July and August to share the proposed changes and gather community feedback. Legislative Committees meet throughout the year and around New Mexico to prepare for legislative sessions. These meetings are where real discussions about issues, priorities, and possible future legislation occur. Take a look.
Mary Katharine Goddard, a newspaper publisher, postmaster and bookstore owner is the only woman whose name appeared on the Declaration of Independence. She was the person authorized to print the Declaration for distribution. For the first time she included the names of the Founders that signed the Declaration, and her name appears at the bottom.
