Reminder: The April Voter will be devoted to reports and information for the annual meeting.

The SAVE Act (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) just won’t go away. It is simply Voter Suppression backed by the President. The new Senate version of the bill goes farther than the bill passed by the House. The Senate must hold the line! It is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections, and documented cases are rare. Americans, especially people of color, low-income individuals and married and divorced women, do not have the required documentation and would face significant challenges in getting it. Please alert your friends and family in New Mexico and other states about this latest attempt to keep citizens from voting. Tell Congress to oppose the SAVE Act Suite of bills | League of Women Voters.
