National Night Out Is Coming!

National Night Out (NNO) is the first Tuesday of August – August 6 this year – and all neighborhoods are encouraged to participate! If your neighborhood is hosting an event, register it online at: https://www.cabq.gov/national-night-out <https://www.cabq.gov/national-night-out>. The information will be given to city officials, Area Commands and crime prevention personnel, so they can attend as many events as possible. Attached is a flyer you can use to promote NNO among your neighbors. Please remember that the National website DOES NOT share information with local jurisdictions, so if you have registered on the national site, you will also need to register with the City site.

Summer Means Weeds in the Duke City

Summer means fun but with the recent rainfall we’ve had, also means pesky weeds that crop up across the city every year. Weed control and removal is an essential component of ensuring both an attractive and safe neighborhood, as well as helping control allergens in the environment. To learn about weed control and removal for your property, visit: http://www.cabq.gov/planning/code-enforcement/nuisance-weed-removal <http://www.cabq.gov/planning/code-enforcement/nuisance-weed-removal>. You can also report nuisance weeds by calling 311 or by downloading the free OneABQ app on your Android or Apple device!
