Nob Hill Friends and Neighbors,

I am forwarding this important item from CABQ Planning regarding our once every 5 year opportunity to participate in developing initiatives, ordinances, and projects for the years ahead!
Please give whatever time you can to the tools here.
Please get in on any of the special focused sessions (focus groups) in your areas of interest! They kick off next week.

You may reply to all or to theboard at nobhill-nm.com if you would like any particular neighborhood dialogue or actions.

Your Community. Your Voice.

Explore Existing Conditions

During the assessment for Near Heights CPA, Long Range planners and community members explore what's happening in the community and come up with recommendations based on what the community wants to see.

Month 3 explores what resources and programs are already available to address community priorities or what recommendations might be needed for changes in the future.

Review Community Priorities

Focus Groups: April 19-30

Do you want to know who works to provide the resources and services you want and need? Ever wondered why they do what they do (or don't do)?

Have we got a treat for you!

The City is hosting a series of focus groups by topic from April 19-30 based on community priorities identified as Assets or Opportunities.

Staff from City Departments and other agencies and institutions will lead discussions of what resources and programs are already available or what might be needed in the future to achieve what the community wants to see.

Focus groups are scheduled for lunchtime and evenings, and we will record these sessions in case you miss one!

Closed captioning is available. Interpreters for multiple languages will be available if requested 3 days (72 hours) in advance.

Survey + Activities

It's not too late to participate in online activities and surveys! UNM students in the Community and Regional Planning program are collaborating with CABQ Planning to create surveys by topic to gather more information based on community priorities.

Ongoing Outreach + Engagement

You can always see everything happening during this assessment on the project webpage, and we will also keep the latest input opportunities available in hard copy or in a dedicated display space at the San Pedro Library.

Are you part of a group that would be interested in getting involved in this planning process?

Invite us to your meeting: We'd love to come and listen to your input or give a quick plug to participate during the assessment. Email NearHeights-CPA at cabq.gov to request a planner.
Help us get the word out: Do you have a newsletter, website, or social media? We'd love your help sharing posts, events, and engagement opportunities. Forward engagement opportunities to your circle, and follow us on Facebook @abctozoning for updates.
