Nob Hill Friends, Here is information of interest from CABQ.

You will see pertinent items, particularly the piece on green waste pickup.

We share this photo of workmen constructing the pedestrian crossing of Central Ave near Tulane Dr.

We celebrate this improvement that will connect our commercial district in a way that is safe for all.

We thank Councilor Pat Davis who brought it through for us and our friends at Nob Hill Main Street who advocated for it in partnership with us.

#VivaNobHill Gary Eyster, President Nob Hill Neighborhood Association

2021 Property Tax Bills Delayed

The Bernalillo County Treasurer's Office has announced that the 2021 property tax bills will be delayed due to a state law (HB407-2019) that allows school districts to have a mill levy question on the November election ballot, delaying mailing and due dates for first half of property taxes. The new law affects 14 New Mexico counties, including Bernalillo, which will have a Moriarty Edgewood School District (MESD) mill levy question on the Nov. 2 ballot. In Bernalillo County, the delayed dates are:

*	Dec. 1, 2021 – Mailing of property tax bills
*	Dec. 10, 2021 – Payment due date
*	Jan. 10, 2022 – Final due date without late penalties and interest

The second half of property taxes continue as before starting April 10 with May 10 as the final due date. Please note that this delay does not apply if you are on our monthly payment or if your taxes are paid through your mortgage company. For monthly payments, continue to pay your usual amount. Mortgage companies have been notified and will pay your taxes on time. For further questions, please call the Treasurer’s Office at (505) 468-7031, e-mail: <mailto:treasurers at bernco.gov> treasurers at bernco.gov or visit: <https://cabq.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b697b563bdb0acc3e117a1409&id=22b4686c61&e=44d9523a23> www.bernco.gov/treasurer.
