[Neighbors] Clarification on Drink Request APD

Lucille, thanks so much for sharing this opportunity! Last week, we delivered a large amount of various waters & energy drinks that our congregation collected. They were so appreciative! We're grateful for this partnership and will continue receiving donations at the church from anyone who wants to drop off at Monte Vista CC. Then deliver the collection to the Substation periodically.

My apologies for the confusion on the drinks for officers.

There was a question on tax dollars if our tax dollars should pay for this. The substation has been set up as a PILOT and its operation may not have been budgeted yet in this fiscal year.  Therefore, we have been asked to help out in the interim as the council and the mayor decide if this station will become permanent. 



Those of us who live near Morningside Park have witnessed the value of having these officers nearby by deterring illicit activities. Some of you may also see an increased presence in Nob Hill and neighboring communities.



There was another question as to dropping off at the triangle near Girard.  No.

The larger substation and the Monte Vista Christian Church.
