Will there continue to be a play ground where the kids can play? I don't have a dog either and enjoy the park as it is, except for the overnight guests.

Is the proposal to make the whole park a dog park? If so what about the Farmers Market?

I don't have a dog so I don't know what it takes to maintain a dog park.  With all the cutbacks, will there be adequate funding to maintain the dog park?  How do the residents who live in the condos right next to the park feel about the proposal?  Will odor be a problem?

Subject: [Neighbors] Morningside Park

Hello Neighbors,
As many of you already know, Morningside Park in Upper Nob Hill has on-going issues with unwanted activity in the park on a daily basis.  At our public safety meeting in January, several nearby residents once again spoke up about illegal drug activity, public intoxication, and overnight “camping” in this park.
One suggestion to change the “culture of use” for the park would be to include a fenced “dog park” area.  I would like to get feedback from the neighborhood as to whether or not you feel this is a viable option for this particular park.
Thank you,
