Dear Friends:   I'd like to invite you to my next Monthly neighborhood Luncheon on Wednesday, March 16th, noon-1:00pm, at McKinley Community Center, 3401 Monroe NE, behind McKinley Middle School. This month’s speaker is Ken Martinez, newly appointed Bernalillo County Attorney. Ken Martinez was chosen unanimously by the Bernalillo County Commission in November 2015, to succeed Randy Autio. Before accepting the positon with the county, Ken represented the 69th District in the New Mexico House of Representatives for 17 years, serving as Speaker of the House for 8 years.  His law firm has served as Grant’s city attorney.  Ken received his BA degree from UNM and law degree from Notre Dame.  According to Ken, he enjoys policy making and is looking forward to using his litigation & legislative experience and public policy expertise in his new position with the county. Remember this is a Brown Bag Luncheon – you bring a sandwich and we will provide the beverages.  An RSVP to jhartley@bernco.gov is appreciated but not required.   Please feel free to share with your friends, neighbors and association memberships.   I look forward to seeing you on March 16th!
