Subject: In case of a Burglary

Good Afternoon, All –

Each year the Albuquerque Police Department recovers stolen property that cannot be returned to the rightful owner because of missing or incomplete information.  A key piece of information that is often lacking is the serial number of electronics, tools, bicycles, etc.  Please take the time to record this vital information and also take pictures of your valuables.  Scan and save all important receipts.

Two easy ways to store this information so that it is accessible in the case of theft, fire or loss are to email a copy of the inventory and pictures to yourself and/or utilize Report It, a free service that allows you to register your property using a secure and free personal account – reportit.leadsonline.com (please see attached flyers).

No one ever expects to be a victim of a crime, but if it happens, be prepared.

Sincerely,

Laura Kuehn, NCPS, ICPS
