ABC Comp Plan - Revised Draft

Thank you to everyone who sent comments on the January Public Draft.  The project team has been hard at work revising the draft to incorporate comments, consolidate policies, and add graphics in a reader-friendly layout.  

We would like to present and discuss revisions at two public meetings on April 14 and further refine policies at several focus groups on April 15. 
  • Thursday, April 14:  Overview of Revision / General Discussion
    • 1:30 - 3 pm Highland Senior Center, 131 Monroe Ave. NE
    • 6-7:30 pm Patrick J. Baca Library (Central/Unser) Library, 8081 Central Ave. NW
  • Friday, April 15:  Focus Groups on Policies by Topic - Alvarado Transit Center, 100 1st St. SW, 2nd Floor, Training Room
    • 8:30 - 10 am:  Land Use
    • 10:30 - 12 pm: Transportation
    • 12:30 - 1:30 pm: Plan Overview / General Discussion
    • 2:00 - 3:30 pm:  Heritage Conservation
    • 3:30-5 pm: Neighborhoods
The revised chapter narratives will be posted on the project webpage by Friday, April 8.  We hope to post revised policies for each content chapter on or immediately following April 15.
  • Display copies are available at all ABC Libraries and City Community, Multigeneration, and Senior Centers.
City Integrated Development Ordinance

Module 2 of 3 will be posted on the project webpage in May 2016.  Module 2 will focus on dimensional and design standards for the zones proposed in Module 1.

Mark your calendars to attend one of several public meetings to walk through proposed standards.

    • 6-7:30 pm:  Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center, 501 Elizabeth St. SE
Heads Up
Based on discussions at these general overview meetings, we will identify hot topics and schedule follow-up focus groups on May 25 and May 26 to respond to questions and provide an opportunity for discussion at a greater level detail. Times and topics will be announced as soon as they are available on the project webpage.
