Subject: IDO Meetings & Comp Plan Chapters

We hope to see you this month for IDO Module 2 meetings!
ABC Comp Plan - Revised Chapters

Thanks to many who attended focus groups in April!  Several chapters of the Comp Plan have been revised and are up on the project webpage for your review.

The project team is hard at work finalizing policies in the other chapters and will post them as soon as possible!
We will make display copies available at all ABC Libraries and City Community, Multigenerational, and Senior Centers when the whole Plan is ready.

Public Meetings
We will host another series of meetings June 13-18 to discuss revisions.

Public Comments
We would love to receive your comments as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, June 20.

Next Steps
We plan to submit the final draft to the Environmental Planning Commission at the end of June 2016 for an August 4 public hearing, time still to be decided.
Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO)

Module 2 Draft Document

The second of three portions of the City's IDO, which is intended to replace the existing zoning code, has been posted on the project webpage.

Module 2 includes a new section on Development Standards (e.g. building heights, setbacks, landscaping and parking requirements, etc.) to build on Module 1 sections, which are unchanged in this draft.

Public Meetings

We are hosting six opportunities to have Clarion Associates walk through Module 2 and provide opportunities for general discussion.  The project team will also gather "hot topics" and host focus groups on May 25-26 to provide more in-depth discussions.
